New track ‘Beetle In The Box’ available as a free download and on limited edition 7” vinyl
A brand new track from Admiral Fallow, entitled ‘Beetle In The Box’, will be available as a free download from the band’s website from Thursday 26th January and as a limited edition 7” vinyl (backed with a brilliant version of ‘Party Fears Two’ by The Associates) on 5th March. ‘Beetle In The Box’ is taken from the band’s second album which is due to be released in May (more details to be announced soon).
Produced by Paul Savage (Mogwai, King Creosote) at Glasgow's Chem 19 and mastered by Greg Calbi (Bon Iver, The National) in NYC, the album is the follow up to the Scottish band’s acclaimed 2011 debut ‘Boots Met My Face’ which the BBC called “devastatingly downtrodden and wonderfully uplifting…surprising and enthralling…finely crafted material played superbly well”.
Admiral Fallow have sold out a headline show at Glasgow’s ABC on Friday 27th January and will support Snow Patrol at Glasgow’s SECC on Saturday 28th January. They also play London’s Borderline as part of the HMV Next Big Thing shows, supporting We Are Augustines, on 2nd February. You can rest assured that 2012 will see Admiral Fallow rise to new and deserved heights.
